CHAPTER I
DEFINITION
Article 1 - The objective of the Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltda Code of Ethics is to establish the basic and general conditions which are adopted in such a way as to maintain its activities within the strict technical, moral and ethical standards recognized by the local, national and international community.
Article 2 - The present Code of Ethics guides the conduct of Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltda within the community, customers, employees, governments and other companies.
CHAPTER II
FUNDAMENTAL PRI NCIPLES
Article 3 - Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltda, through its own constitution, has within the democratic system, within a free initiative and as a private company, its principles and origins, and it should defend them and publicize them, through its operations, and through the actions and declarations of its directors.
Article 4 - Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltda, designs and manufactures products which fully meet the technical demands and the established safety levels for technical standards and/or for the current laws in the country and/or abroad.
Article 5 - Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltda, is fully aware of the relevant role that the company has for the economic, technical, scientific and social development of the country, as well as of their duties to society. In this context, the company will act in a proactive way to cope with the needs and expectations of the community.
Article 6 - Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltda, integrally respects the Brazilian Environmental Legislation.
Article 7 - Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltda, maintains a transparent, company-employee relationship and fully respects the Labor Laws (CLT), Social Welfare, safety standards, current medicine applied at work and the Child and Adolescent Institute(E.C.A.).
Article 8 - Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltda never deliberately practices any act that may cause damage or may be contrary to the public interest, faithfully respecting Brazilian Civil and Tax Legislation.
Article 9 - Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltda will only use original computer programs for its needs.

CHAPTER III
EMPLOYEES AND ASSOCIATES
Article 10 - All employees and associates of Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltda know and must comply with the standards of this Code of Ethics, and their occasional ignorance will not exempt them from fault, when, by chance, infractions are committed within the company.
Article 11 - Every employee and associate of Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltda is forbidden to make public to other parties information regarded as secret by the company.
CHAPTER IV
RELATIONSHIP WITH SUPPLIERS
Article 12 - Suppliers should be considered as an integral part of Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltda. Based on this, the company will only maintain commercial links with the suppliers that respect the defined fundamental principles in this Code of Ethics.
Article 13 - In negotiations, the best technical conditions and the best product prices should always be sought. Personal favors are prohibited to negotiators, which may be detrimental to commercial advantages for Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltda.

CHAPTER V
RELATIONSHIP WITH CUSTOMERS
Article 14 - When dealing with new customers, Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltda does not make false statements or impossible promises, nor does it exercise any persuasion which may discredit its activities.
Article 15 - In customer contracts, Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltda establishes, in a clear and necessary way, the duties, obligations, responsibilities and the rights of both business parties.
Article 16 - In the commercialization of products, Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltda tries to obtain for the benefit of the customer, the most efficient conditions and to rigorously achieve pre-set contractual conditions.
Article 17 - Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltda never deliberately practices any act that can cause damage to its customer.
Article 18 - Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltda does not seek to attract for itself or third parties, associates or employees from its customers.
CHAPTER VI
RELATIONSHIP WITH COMPETING COMPANIES
Article 19 - Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltda never deliberately practices any act that may cause damage or constitute disloyalty with another company.
Article 20 - When purchasing its products, Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltda. never makes discreditable references to their competitors with the objective of promoting the value of their own work. However, the company will alert the customer to propositions that, in its judgment, may be badly formulated and which also do not represent the customer's real interests.
CHAPTER VII
LEADERS
Article 21 - The leaders of Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltda are responsible for the disclosure and faithful enforcement on the part of their companies, of this Code of Ethics.
Article 22 - On commencement of employment, and employees' and associates' training, Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltda ensures that all ethical principles are adhered to.

CHAPTER VIII
PRICES
Article 23 - When marketing its products, Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltda presents prices that the company considers fair, and does not offer conditions incompatible with those usually practiced for other customers.
Article 24 - It is lawful for Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltda to attract future customers with its products, and such conduct should always be ruled by the strictest conditions.
CHAPTER IX
ADVERTISING
Article 25 - The offer of false or doubtful benefits and other unworthy methods of trading are not admitted and practiced by Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltd.
Article 26 - Indústria Eletromecânica Balestro Ltda is committed to give wide popularization of this Code of Ethics, to all those involved within the business.
