The magazine Eletricidade Moderna holds every year a survey together with the electric and electronic products consumer market, with the objective of evaluating the prestige of commercial brands. At the end of the survey the winning brand receives the" Prêmio Qualidade do Ano" as recognition of its performance. In 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 BALESTRO was acclaimed with this Prize. The company was pointed out by consumers as the manufacturer of the "best distribution surge arresters in the Brazilian market", surpassing the greatest international brands.
